What to do in the Philippines when you visit? Well, there are many things that you can do: hit the tourists spots, go to places that are boring that look like where you originally came from, or....... you can go off the beaten path and do some good deeds and meet some real locals (if that is what you fancy). Yes I know, maybe where you come from has plenty issues as well, so why do I want to come to the Philippines and help the community when I can help my own country? Well, the answer is.... you don’t =). All I can say is that what you do in the Philippines is up to you, but if it’s in your heart do make a difference in a new place, and do something that you’ve never done before, I’d say give it a shot! It’s a great way to meet some real locals and learn what the filipino culture is all about, and at the same time, you will love seeing all the smiles, guaranteed!
