Behind the Scenes look at the Cocoon Video. music: ANML - This Could Be HA (Rae Okino Remix) About the Video: It started as a fun collaborative shoot with dear friend and musical artist ANML. We simply wanted to test out a few ideas and and play, which ended up yielding some interesting results that i cut together for fun:) This shoot relied heavily on the power and flexibility of Digital Sputnik to create colour and contrast via Light Grading workflow. Basically, the lights were grouped and seamlessly controlled via Wifi on a tablet, live on set without a DMX board. I monitored the output on a calibrated screen and was able to dial in subtle and gradual changes in tone, contrast and mood from camera position, even creating subtle animations mid shot. I was pretty amazed by how the pigments combined on my monitors, discovering some wicked combinations just by playing. We were also privileged to have our friends from Atlas Lens Co. bring their prototype 65mm Anamorphic lens for us to see and play with. I ab
