Poland under water! Hail the size of a fist fell from the sky! People are still holding on!

Experts said the storm complex appeared to fit the pattern of a derecho, an extremely widespread and long-lasting storm that rarely occurs in the region. The storms originated and then spread across the Mediterranean Sea and into Europe with a total length of about 1,000 miles. The massive storm complex has made a nearly 1,000-mile path across Europe with winds of up to 240 mph, causing devastation before moving on to cause significant wind damage in parts of Poland. The storm complex was moving extremely fast Thursday morning, adding to its wind damage. The powerful storm hit the Corsican capital of Ajaccio on the southwest coast at 8:15 a.m. local time. An hour later it reached the northeastern tip—at about 70 mph. #weather #news #planet #extremeweather #hailstorm #tornado #hurricane #viralvideo #shorts
