Peacock Spider - Maratus volans

(Maratus volans - Male) Commonly known as the “Peacock Spider“. This amazing little spider is only 4mm long and is native to Australia. He performs the most amazing courtship display when he sees a female. This video took me several months to create, I spent weeks searching the bush looking for a 4 mm long spider, it was harder than finding a needle in a hay stack.
