Stepanakert’s New, Ultra-modern Hospital

Nune Avetisyan reports from Stepanakert’s new State Hospital, where she interviews its medical director as well as patients while taking a tour of the complex. Stepanakert’s old hospital, heavily damaged during the Nagorno Karabakh war, continued to serve the population up till the construction of the new hospital. Built with donations totaling $22 million by Armenia Fund Board of Trustees member Samvel Karapetyan and opened in 2012, the new State Hospital is an ultra-modern, full-fledged medical facility
