RARE Axe Restoration – With VIKING engravings

Very rare Axe Restoration. This time I restore an antique axe and add some very awesome viking modifications and engravings to the metal. ABOUT THIS AXE I really do not know much about this axe. I had it for a couple of years, waiting for the right time to make the restoration video. I bought it from a guy who found it here in Sweden. THE RESTORATION PROCESS I started by sandblasting the axe and removed it from the handle who was “homemade” of some worthless wood. I welded the strange hole there was in the metal. I also changed the form on the head to better fit a real handle. I chose a beautiful and long hickory wood handle to get the Nordic Viking battle axe look. I also hardened the metal and gave it a black look by dipping it in oil.
