Well, we can now exclusively reveal that this version was arranged and composed by… Voyager! As if a Top 10 finish in Liverpool wasn’t enough of a fantastic legacy, Australia’s 2023 participants Voyager have written a little piece of history with this fantastic version of the song synonymous with the Eurovision Song Contest since it began in the 1950s. Frontman Danny had this to say: ‘For Voyager, creating the new YouTube premiere countdown music for the EBU is an absolute compositional highlight. To be able to forge the original Te Deum theme with some beautiful ambient sounds, ‘80s synths, soaring Floyd-esque guitars and a ramping of suspense was very special.
