L’Arpeggiata & Christina Pluhar, feat. Bruno de Sá – Sfere fermate (Sigismondo d’India)
The enchanting musical personality of Naples plays the muse of Alla Napoletana by L’Arpeggiata and Christina Pluhar. Discover the album:
The program of this creative project expresses the city’s mercurial personality in music from the 17th to the 20th centuries, embracing the operatic style of the so-called Neapolitan School, which rose to prominence in the late 1700s, and popular songs and dances. There are eight guest singers on the recording: sopranos Céline Scheen and Bruno de Sá, mezzo-soprano Luciana Mancini, countertenor Valer Sabadus, alto Vincenzo Capezzuto, tenors Alessandro Giangrande and Zachary Wilder, and bass João Fernandes.
