I’m a New Zealand musician living here in Turkey. 2016 was the year I flew over to Istanbul, to see my Berna for the first time. Ever since I’ve been here. Everything that I’ve seen, heard or tasted here in Istanbul, has been for the first time. -The foods alone is completely overwhelming. So many different versions of traditional foods. Some tracing back Thousands of years. All from different parts of the country. Are all found here in Istanbul. -There is the Turkish Whirling Dervishes and also you will find throughout the country. Lots of different styles of Turkish dancing.
