Are you still not getting why there is a high tide on the opposite side to the moon or maybe want a new perspective of looking at tides? in this video you will look at the reason tides form in a completely fresh manner. i’m really sorry for any mistakes that you may notice in animation and explaination as this is my first animation and time provided for #veritasiumcontest was limited to 1 minute. i wasn’t able to explain the concept as clearly as i wanted it to be. i will upload a descriptive video later explaining many tiny details i had to leave here.
