Peter Fernandes GALAXY Take 1

This is one of several great Fusion tracks I recorded for Peter Fernandes recently. I had a blast recording drums on his album and I can’t wait to hear the finished mixes. I’m playing a Maple/Mahogany DW Collector’s Series kit and using Audix Mini D’s on all the toms, an Audix D-6 in the kick drum, two Audix CSX112 ambient mic’s, and Audix I-5 on the snare, 25A’s as OH’s and as HiHat Mic’s and snare bottoms mic. The snare is a Maple/Mahogany Edge drum. All drums also have the Randy May Internal Miking System , with D-4’s in all Toms, the D-6 in the kick drum and a SM-57 inside the snare drum pointing at the wires from the inside. The mix you’re hearing is my headphone mix minus the click track. Yes, I am reading the chart for the song while tracking so excuse the intense looks to my left!
