Colorado wildfires extinguished by heavy snowfall | DW News

Hundreds of people have been left homeless in the US state of Colorado, after gale-force winds fuelled wildfires that tore through two communites outside the city of Boulder. The fires destroyed 1,000 homes but were put out, in large part, by heavy snowfall. At least three people are missing and feared dead. President Joe Biden has declared the area a disaster zone.
