Russian troops pouring in for joint drills which is to be held on Belarusian border near Ukraine

Russian military forces and hardware began arriving in ex-Soviet Belarus on Monday for the “Allied Resolve“ joint drills. As one of the consensuses reached during Russia and Belarus presidential meeting last month the duo plan to hold joint military drills in February amid soaring tensions with the West over Ukraine. The drills will be held near Belarus’s western border with NATO members Poland and Lithuania and close to its southern flank with Ukraine.
