Unreal Engine Combat System - Berserk Fan-Game Concept
Wow! Where do I even begin with this one, I was so eager to see a new Berserk game which used Stylish Design elements and close quarters combat. I decided to Program this prototype as a means to show the world what my vision was, unfortunately I’m not an animator so I used a beautiful pack from a talented animator called Grruzam. The most important part about designing this system was envisioning myself as Guts, understanding the importance of frame connections as well as weight when it comes to combat. I’ve done my research, and I’m proud of how this ended up! The hardest challenge was nailing Gut’s iconic canon, since he’s more on the offensive side I decided to incorporate a dash that can connect to the canon to really nail the feel of the combat!
