Jimi Hendrix with the Rolling Stones / Rocks Off Message Board - Thanks Albert Maysles!
#RIPJimiHendrix #JimiHendrix #RollingStones
The video is from the original tapes recorded backstage at MSG on November 27, 1969 by the Maysles brothers.
The audio is “MY LITTLE ONE“. When I posted this video, several sources and one book (The Complete works by Nico Zentgraf) informed that it was recorded by Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones (sitar), Dave Mason from Traffic (sitar and bass) and Jimi and Mitch Mitchell from the Jimi Hendrix Experience on guitar and drums respectively. Recorded at the Olympic Studios in London on October 5, 1967. Composed by Jimi... However recently I was informed by my friend Philip Johnston a real reliable source about Brian Jones (The Brian Jones Resource) that Brian was not involved, and he showed me his sources. However I left the background music and made this correction as the video has more than 11.8 million views at this moment
We want to thank Albert Maysles the owner of the copyright for being so nice with the fans, with this and the Maysles Institute Benefit... December 30th 2007
