Ban Ki-moon endorsing SDSN Youth’s SDG Students Program

SDSN Youth is proud to announce that the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens is endorsing the SDG Students Program, an SDSN Youth initiative aimed to engage students in higher education in the global effort to achieve the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) is an independent nonprofit organization founded in 2017 and co-chaired by Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General from 2007 – 2016 and by Heinz Fischer, President of the Republic of Austria from 2004 – 2016. The Centre works for empowering youth and women to act as global citizens through leadership, mediation, advocacy, and education programs in the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. The BKMC’s recognition of the fantastic work done by our SDG Student Hubs and SDG Coordinators in engaging students in the 2030 Agenda is an important encouragement so that we can keep working towards our goal of a better future.
