Ban Ki-moon endorsing SDSN Youth’s Global Schools Program

SDSN Youth is proud to announce that the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens is endorsing the Global Schools Program, an SDSN Youth initiative aimed to empower schools and teachers globally to educate children about the SDGs. The Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens (BKMC) is an independent nonprofit organization founded in 2017 and co-chaired by Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General from 2007-2016 and by Heinz Fischer, President of the Republic of Austria from 2004-2016. The Centre works for empowering youth and women to act as global citizens through leadership, mediation, advocacy, and education programs in the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. We are deeply thankful of BKMC’s acknowledgement of the amazing work done by our team and Global Schools Ambassadors in empowering schools and teachers so that children can learn about the SDGs, and we hope to encourage them to keep working for a more sustainable future!
