Shingles And Rocks

2009, We started a yearly tradition of covering a traditional Christmas song. Last year, we reached the point where we had recorded enough songs to release a full holiday album. The plan was of course to get filthy rich, name ourselves the kings and queens of Christmas and retire from music all together. 2022, our bank accounts remain empty, so this year we hold no bars, as we go after the most commercially successful Christmas song ever - Jingle Bell Rock. Lyrics: Very well, Fare thee well, We’re going to hell There’s nothing to eat and the plague’s in the street. It’s snowing and blowing and life is no fun But our hardships has just begun In the docks the poor have gathered shingels and rocks. No church bells will chime, for the likes of our kind Desperation, starvation in old Wapping quay, that’s the normal way Oh these hard times, calls for hard crimes To cast the yoke away Do or die time, go to hell time Let’s get this revolution on it’s way.
