House of Commons 05 09 23 #HS2

North West Leicestershire has been blighted by 20 miles of the HS2 route since March 2013. It has stopped the regeneration of Measham via the canal and housing project , it has stopped employment and housing being created all along the sterilised route. I have spoken and voted against it at every opportunity. It will never be delivered and should be cancelled. We actually don’t have access to the passenger rail network in NWLeicestershire so we need the Ivanhoe line reopening.
