KELL BROOK (UK) vs SHAWN PORTER (USA) TOUGH FIGHT

So guys, the fight between Kell Brook and Shawn Porter took place on August 16, 2014, at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. This bout was for the IBF welterweight title, with Porter being the defending champion and Brook the challenger. Heading into this 12-round Championship fight, there was a noticeable difference in the style of the two boxers. This was also relayed through boxing news and sports news. Kell Brook, a technically sound boxer from the UK, was known for his precision, timing, and strong defensive and boxing skills. He entered the fight with an undefeated record and was considered one of the top contenders in the welterweight division. Shawn Porter, the more aggressive of the two, was a boxer from the USA. Porter was known for his relentless style, physicality, and high work rate. He had a reputation for overwhelming his opponents with constant pressure and volume punching. He also possessed good boxing technique and footwork. During the fight, both their styles were evident for the audience to witness. The juxtaposition of their sports styles; precision vs pressure, demonstrated the pros and cons of each style. Throughout the fight, Brook landed the more significant and cleaner shots, which gradually accumulated and slowed Porter down. This was a boxing workout for both boxers.
