GENNADY GOLOVKIN (KAZAKHSTAN) vs DAVID LEMIEUX (CANADA) TKO FIGHT

Welcome guys thanks for joining me again in this update. I hope you’re all well. So guys, the fight between David Lemieux and Gennady Golovkin took place on October 17, 2015, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This middleweight unification bout was highly anticipated, as it featured two of the division’s most powerful punchers.. Known as “GGG,“ Golovkin entered the fight with an undefeated record and a reputation as one of the most feared knockout artists in boxing. To this day, that has never been an embellishment of his notoriety. He held the WBA (Super), WBC, IBO middleweight titles and possessed and amazing boxing skill set. Now David Lemieux, a hard-hitting Canadian fighter, was the IBF middleweight champion. Known for his aggressive style and knockout power, he was seen as a formidable challenger to Golovkin. From the opening bell, Golovkin established his jab, using it to control the distance and set up his powerful punch combinations perfected in numerous boxing drills. Lemieux attempted to mount an offense, but Golovkin’s superior technique and power made it difficult for him to gain any momentum. Lemieux showed heart and resilience but was outmatched by Golovkin’s skill set, definitely a boxing workout for him. In the 8th round, after a barrage of powerful punches from Golovkin, the referee stepped in to stop the fight, awarding Golovkin a technical knockout (TKO) victory. This was one of many victories that showcased Golovkin’s superiority within the middleweight ranks. So guys I have a question, which one of Golovkin’s knockout victories was most devastating.
