Russia to built one of the largest ports in the world

Russia is building a port capable to put in the shade both, port of Dubai and Amsterdam. This is how territory of today’s port used to be 20 years ago. Nothing but a wild seashore overgrown with woods. Leningrad oblast, estuary of the river Ust-Luga. Completely untouched/wild place. The nearest middle size town is at least 50 km away from here and the capital city of the Leningrad oblast – St. Petersburg is 150 km away from the port. 570 billion rubles were invested to create here one of the biggest industrial hubs in Russia..
