Oktoberfest 2022 Munich, The World’s Largest Beer Festival

Every fall, millions of people gather in Munich, Germany to drink beer, eat soft Brezen (pretzels), and celebrate Bavarian culture. Oktoberfest simply called the “Wiesn” is the world’s largest beer festival which typically draws over six million visitors during its three-week run. The first day of Oktoberfest is known for tradition “O’zapft is!“ (in Bavarian “It is tapped“), the Mayor of Munich opens beer barrel with hammer in the Schottenhamel tent at noon.
