Shooting the Armscor VR80 during Industry Day

Rock Island Armory’s new VR80 semi-auto 12 gauge shotgun was a crowd pleaser at SHOT Show in Las Vegas this month and is headed to retailers in 2019. The Armscor VR80 hails from the Philippines and uses a 5-round detachable box magazine– but can accept nine- or 19-shot mags as well. Using 7075 T6 aluminum receivers, the Thrilla from Manila has a fighting weight of 9-pounds and goes 40-inches overall with its 20-inch contoured Mobi Choke barrel.
