“Hey! Ba-Ba-Re-Bop“ is a 1946 song by Lionel Hampton and His Orchestra. The song was credited to Hampton and his drummer Curley Hamner, although it was partly rewritten of Helen Humes’ hit “Be-Baba-Leba”. Once upon a time in the 1930’s, Lionel Hampton (April 20, 1908 – August 31, 2002) together with Louis Armstrong and Lionel’s Orchestra were recording a new track together.
