Police fire tear gas, rubber bullets at Bangkok protesters

Thai police have fired water cannon, tear gas and rubber bullets at anti-government protesters in Bangkok. The crowds marched towards an army base that is home to the prime minister’s residence, demanding his resignation over what they say is his failure to handle the coronavirus pandemic.
