Duran Duran’s John Taylor supports wife as she holds first show in NY City parking garage

(13 Feb 2012) SKAIST-TAYLOR HOLDS FASHION SHOW IN NEW YORK PARKING GARAGE The designers behind Juicy Couture are back. They sold the company and signed a non-competition agreement that prohibited them from designing clothes for eighteen months. And there first showing was unique, because while New York Fashion Week was going on at Lincoln Center, their new label, Skaist-Taylor made their show debut with a fashion installation inside a subterranean parking garage. Before the show, Nash-Taylor and Pam Skaist said they happy to design again. “The girls have been working so hard and watched this process unfurl. To come to New York, and put on a show like this. They never did a show like this before, so it’s a big step for them,“ Nash-Taylor said. Nash-Taylor is married to Duran Duran founding member John Taylor.
