Shazz - “Mirage“ (Official)

House music is 20 years old and nobody can fully grasp the idea. Books and essays have been written, documentaries have been filmed -- and so many articles or Internet links, all about a sound that changed so many lives. So, it’s our turn to act like elders and to look upon the Lily Allens and Sam Sparros of this world and remind them how it was, back in the days, as they say. It’s a strange irony : we switched from avant garde to the pre-ederly of Electronica. Gone are the 12 inch covers of 10 Records which graphism you could spot miles away, gone is the delicate spritualism of Marshall Jefferson. We were here at the very beginning, when drum machines were barely understood, when editing was hazardous, when a surge of synth sounds on loud dancefloor sound systems were making us jack to the sound of the underground. But , wait. Drums machines still run the show, more than ever. Marshall Jefferson is still alive too.
