Theseus and the Minotaur Lego Animation

Music: Theseus and the Minotaur, the myth: This story begins in Athens where a Cretan ship is demanding Athens’ most beautiful women and most courageous men to be taken as tribute to Crete to be devoured by the special pet of King Midas: the Minotaur. Theseus volunteers and vows to slay the monster. His father, King Aegeus, gives him a white sail hoping for a celebratory return. Stripped of all weapons he deftly steals one aboard the lamenting ship. Imprisoned in Crete, he meets the King’s daughter, Ariadne. Stricken by his courage and desperate situation she secretly helps him. In the dark of night, she gives him a golden ball of thread and a few sly directions. This simple gift allows Theseus to navigate the Labyrinth wherin Theseus finds the Minotaur and a tremendous fight ensues. The demigod, Theseus with his incredible strength is victorious.
