Queen’s Platinum Jubilee: Pageant celebrates Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne | FULL

Festivities celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne wrapped up on Sunday with the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, which tells the story of her reign in four parts. The pageant opened with a military spectacle, honouring the U.K. armed forces from across the Commonwealth, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Ghana and Belize among others. A hologram of the queen during her coronation in 1953 was also broadcast on the windows of the Gold State Coach, waving to the crowds as the carriage went by. The pageant then showcased British life and spirit since 1952, when she acceded to the throne following her father’s death.
