The Burmese Restaurant Hidden In An NYC Subway Station
Tin Ko Naing and Thidar Kyaw, along with their daughter Yun, run Yun Cafe, a Burmese restaurant tucked away inside the Jackson Heights Roosevelt Avenue subway station in Queens. As one of NYC’s only Burmese restaurants, Yun Cafe serves classic dishes from Myanmar such as mohinga and a variety of tea leaf salads.
