ingredients
1/2 stick of butter
2-3 bell peppers, diced
1 large onion, chopped
8-10 large shrimp, peeled and de-veined and patted dry
1lb cooked & chopped bacon, bacon fat reserved for shrimp
1 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp flour
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 cup chicken stock
Juice from 1/2 of a lemon
Chopped parsley
Garlic powder to taste
Salt to taste
OLD seasoning to taste
Black Pepper to taste
Seasoning of choice
Instructions
1. Make cheese grits according to Danni’s recipe link is located in the description box
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add butter and swirl to coat the pan
3. Add bell peppers and onions and let ‘em sweat
4. Remove peppers and onions and transfer to a small bowl, set aside
5. Add shrimp to a medium bowl and sprink
