Jeep Avenger 4xe The North Face Edition - NON PLUG-IN AWD

With exceptional attention to detail, the Jeep Avenger 4xe blends the timeless appeal of Jeep design and unmatched off-road capabilities with more sustainable four-wheel drive and cutting-edge technology, delivering an unparalleled driving experience. The North Face Edition elevates the concept of exploration, embodying the values shared by both brands with the aim of respecting the essence of core customers while reaching a broader audience. Jeep and The North Face designers worked as a team over the past two years and combined different but complementary perspectives and skills, adding great passion to create something truly unique and innovative. Hybrid efficiency cutting-edge AWD technology The innovative Jeep Avenger 4xe engine ideally combines hybrid efficiency and cutting-edge AWD technology. Its “heart“ is a 48V hybrid system, with a powerful turbo engine that delivers 136 hp, combined with two 21 kW electric motors housed in the front and rear. This configuration provides all-wheel drive and is associated with a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that allows the vehicle to be driven in full electric mode at low speeds. This architecture ensures high-level performance, with the Avenger 4xe reaching a maximum power of 136 hp and a top speed of 194 km/h, 10 km/h more than the e-Hybrid version. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 9.5 seconds. The 4xe powertrain is the most powerful in the Avenger hybrid range, delivering 36 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque more than the e-Hybrid FWD version. This translates into quicker acceleration and a higher top speed, with only a slight increase in CO2 emissions. This balance between power and eco-friendliness is a hallmark of Jeep’s commitment to sustainability, allowing drivers to enjoy remarkable performance without sacrificing environmental responsibility. Beyond raw power, the versatility and capability of the Avenger 4xe are further enhanced with serious off-road performance. This SUV boasts improved off-road angles, increased ground clearance ( 10 mm) and a wading depth of up to 400 mm, making it more rugged and versatile than the front-wheel drive version. All-wheel drive capability provides superior traction on a variety of terrain, ensuring the Avenger 4xe is always ready for any adventure. The Avenger 4xe boasts even more impressive characteristic angles (with a 22° approach angle, a 21° breakover angle and a 35° departure angle) and a ground clearance of 210 mm. These features, combined with increased water fording, make it the ideal vehicle for adventurers ready to explore the most rugged terrain. A key element of the Avenger 4xe’s power is the 22.7:1 reduction gear on the rear axle, which sends an impressive 1,900 Nm of torque to the wheels, ensuring exceptional traction even on steep and challenging surfaces. The vehicle can tackle slopes of up to 40% on difficult terrain, such as gravel, and maintain up to 20% traction even when the front axle has little or no grip. Equipped with an intelligent all-wheel drive system, the Jeep Avenger 4xe ensures 4x4 capability is always readily available when needed. Depending on the traction mode engaged, at low speeds (between -30 and 30 km/h), traction on all four wheels is permanent, with a 50:50 torque split. At medium speeds (30 to 90 km/h), traction on the rear axle is engaged only when necessary, while at high speeds (over 90 km/h), the rear electric motor disengages from the axle to optimize fuel consumption. The Selec-Terrain system allows the driver to switch between modes based on specific driving conditions: Auto, which provides four-wheel drive only when needed, balancing performance and allowing electric driving up to 1 km in EV mode under 30 km/h; Snow, which improves traction and stability and ensures safety during the winter season; Sand & Mud, for uneven terrain, with specific gear ratios and traction control to maintain grip; Sport, which unlocks the full potential of the 4xe system, including the E-boost function that sends torque to the rear wheels for faster acceleration. The Avenger 4xe also includes Jeep’s exclusive Multilink rear suspension system, a feature usually reserved for larger vehicles. This innovative system significantly improves the articulation of the rear axle, ensuring a smoother ride on rough roads and greater comfort on challenging terrain. 🙏 If this video was useful to you, make a donation with the “Thanks“ button or subscribe to support it: ⚡️ Discover ALL the new cars before anyone else!
