The Clash - Washington Bullets

The Clash give us a four minute history lesson on imperialism and American foreign policy during the cold war. From the bay of pigs invasion to the Contras in Nicaragua, The Clash takes us across Latin America to teach us about the many imperialist attempts to stifle popular Marxist movements. Starting off with Salvador Allende in Chile, to Fidel Castro in Cuba and finally the Sandinistas in Nicaragua. The last stanza is a special one, referencing the Soviet-Afghan war and the annexation of Tibet; a reminder that all imperialism is bad. I do not own any of the footage, music, or photos in this video; it was solely made as a tribute to an older video on YouTube; which I felt was very well made.
