;;Storyline;; Spirit’s mother was captured by the ranglers about a week ago, and Spirit just happens to stray into the pridelands looking for good food. He is running around when he accidentally bumps into Kiara. She is terrified of him at first, but then he starts to play with her. She warms up to him quickly. Out of nowhere Simba comes up and roars at Spirit, thinking of him as a weak foal and as potential prey. Spirit is terrified, but when Kiara explains to her dad that Spirit has no mother and would like a home, Simba allows Spirit to be a part of the lions. A few years later, Kiara decides to go hunting with Spirit, who alsways keeps and eye out for danger. Simba is worried Spirit might slipup one day and lead her into danger. However, a rogue lioness attacks Kiara that day, and Spirit fends her off. Kiara comes up to him that night, and says that she thanks him, and that she really likes him. Spirit doesn’t have a very positive reaction to this and says that they cant be a couple, for he didn’t want Kiara as his mate. Kiara is torn about this and yells at him to go away, so he does.
