“Oh the night is my world“ - Vitani / Kiara, Scar

I found this song last month and I love it From Vitani’s POV, another video with with one of my favorite couples, I recently somehow don’t edit too much with Vitani / Kiara. The same AU with secret love stories, Kovu here is a pridelander, Kiara’s future husband, a guy he knows from her childhood, her first love. On the outside things are fine and they look like a wonderful family, but once it would be clear that Kiara is meeting Vitani, “this outlander, a foe“, it all would change. Both Kiara and Vitani try thoroughly to keep their meetings hidden, Zira suspects something, Vitani still manages to keep things in order for her. Some lionesses in the Pridelands suspect Kiara, but they didn’t caught them together either. So Vitani is living for the night, for the time when she can be with Kiara, when she “forgets to play her role“, Vitani thinks it’s bad but being with Kiara makes her feel special and Vitani tells herself it’s all not a crime, just some night secret. Scar in this AU is much softer than in canon, he hasn’t “got the will to try and fight“ neither against Mufasa, nor for the Pridelands. He lives “among the creatures of the night“, the hyenas as their friend, spends his safe nights in dreaming. He knows hyenas may someday harm him, but he still trusts them and chooses to believe that “tomorrow never comes“ and he can live in the beautiful nights forever. When Scar dreams he feels happy.
