Five planes fly President Biden’s motorcade to France 🇺🇸 🇫🇷

President Biden’s motorcade arrives with several C-17 military transport planes in Normandy ahead of his trip for D-Day 80th Anniversary events. Several vehicles operated by the US Secret Service arrived in Normandy, transported by C-17 Globemaster III strategic airlifters. The vehicles consisted of two armored Chevrolet Suburbans that will be used by the US President, along with security teams in other vehicles and a Ford F550 of the Hazardous Agent Mitigation Medical Emergency Response (HAMMER) team. This anniversary of D-Day marks 80 years since allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy to liberate France and the rest of Europe from the Nazis in World War II. The event commemorates the allied invasion and thanks the veterans who took part, while also remembering the thousands who perished on June 6th, 1944.
