As St. Johns River reaches record flood stage from Milton, smaller waterways swell

In Altamonte Springs, neighborhoods near the Little Wekiva River are starting to flood. The stream is a tributary of the much larger St. Johns River, which is going into major flood stage thanks to both heavy rain and storm surge from Hurricane Milton.
