Here is a great match featuring Reggie “The Crusher“ Lisowski and his wrestling brother Stan (Stan Holek) vs The All-American Team of Verne Gagne and Wilbur Snyder. The Crusher would soon go on to become AWA Champion and form one of the most hated and then most popular tag teams with Dick the Bruiser. Verne Gagne was an NCAA Champion who Gagne would go on to co-found, promote and be champion for the AWA. Snyder, an All American football player, would go on to be part owner of the WWA in Indianapolis with Dick the Bruiser. Stan was also part of anther successful “brother“ team as he partnered with Art Neilson as Stan Neilson. The match from Fred Kohler’s Chicago territory features some of the men who would change the promotional scene in the US.
