Lord of the Rings actors Sean Astin, Elijah Wood, and Andy Serkis gave a panel at Awesome Con 2023 to talk about the trilogy, their careers, and to answer fan questions. Sean Astin was Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and is also known for The Goonies, Rudy, Alphas, Stranger Things, 24, The Strain, Encino Man, and many more. Elijah Wood portrayed Frodo Baggins, a Hobbit, in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and is also known for his roles in Deep Impact, Back to the Future Part II, Flipper, The Faculty, Spy Kids 3: Game Over, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Sin City, Happy Feet, and many more. Andy Serkis was Gollum / Smeagol in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit and is also known for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker. He is also known for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, War for the Planet of the Apes, Andor, The Batman, The Sandman, and many more.
