Andante con moto This piano trio is the début composition of César Franck (1822-1890), the first published work of the Trios concertants, Opp. 1-2 (The other three trios are also posted on this channel). It took me a while to appreciate this work, but now it has become one of my favourite pieces of chamber music, especially when given such a breathtaking, passionate performance.
