Apocalypse in Malaysia !! Mountain rivers have flooded villages in Kedah state !

On August 18, in the Malaysian state of Kedah, several residential areas around Mount Jerai were hit by severe flooding. Heavy rains raised water in mountain rivers, and streams of water poured into nearby villages. According to local authorities, the water level rose by more than a meter, forcing residents to evacuate. The disaster also affected important infrastructure, roads and residential buildings, as well as damaged the water supply system. Local residents said how unprecedented floods of this magnitude are: “I grew up in this village and this is the first time I have seen such a thing. Bridges and roads were destroyed, cars were washed away, houses were damaged. I’m very scared.“ The amount of damage is still unknown. However, the authorities promised to provide all the necessary assistance to all residents affected by the natural disaster.
