This had been a long story in the making! I think the tape with the sound issues from Night 1 is well known. 4 years ago, I found a 1st gen cassette with an audience recording, but it proved to be impossible to fix. Simply because the audience tape had serious speed issues. Not in the way of just being off like it’s usually the case with older analogue recordings, but in the way of the speed changes following no logic pattern. For example: When the first drum hit of Tico in a song and the last one fit after speed correction, everything in the middle was still terribly off. To make things even worse, the sound quality of the audience tape kept changing all the time as well. So after 3 songs or so, I threw it all in the trash 4 years ago and in the meantime, many other fans tried it as well and no one could get it done either.
