This video is about the Calvine photo, which is a UFO photograph that was taken in Scotland in 1990. The Ministry of Defence released the photo in 2010, and it was later revealed that Nick Pope, who used to work for the MoD, had been involved in the decision to release it. On 9 November 1991, UFOlogist Tony Dodd received a call from a man who claimed to have taken a photograph of a UFO near the village of Calvine in Scotland. Dodd was initially sceptical, but after seeing the photo he was convinced that it was genuine. He took the photo to UFO expert Nick Pope, who also believed it to be authentic. The photo, which has come to be known as the “Calvine UFO photo“, shows a disc-shaped object hovering above a road. Pope later said that he had “no doubt“ that the object in the photo was a UFO.
