Chopin Nocturne , Op. Posth. | Played by Anton Baranov

Guitarist Anton Baranov plays his own transcription of Chopin’s Nocturne op. 20. This is one of the best music ever written... I’ve always felt something special while listening Chopin’s posthumous Nocturne and the idea of transcribing it to the guitar was growing by years. On this video I play the guitar that good friend of mine Aleksey Dukhovitch built in traditional Spanish way, mostly after Jose Romanillos with some details from Vicente Arias. After been playing for a while on double tops and lattice-breed guitar, I really started missing the qualities of good traditional guitars such as quick attack, huge variety of timbers and the way how guitar responds on performer’s different right hand positions is just amazing! If you’re interested in guitars that @dukhovich makes – please contact him directly and visit his workshop in Slovakia.
