Moving Cities: Paris

The second instalment in Moving Cities explores the city of Paris. 22 Parisian Ballet, Contemporary, Electro and Krump dancers captured on the streets, metro and Paris RER. Dancing is a method of release capable of transcending race, age, gender and even location. Despite the physical boundaries separating everyone, dance – like other art forms – is a universally shared language. You will find performers everywhere, in all corners of the world. The second installment of Moving Cities, takes place in the beautiful city of Paris, France. Yet, this video is unique. It is about a collective, a collaborative effort of inspired, young artists. Witness the human body contorting and bending in ways that delineate shape and lines, rather than any recognizable form. While watching these people, you can’t help, but want to get up off the couch and dance along like no one is watching.
