The track SILENT MOVIE is part of a more recent EP released on FRESHLY SQUEEZED. Jazzy vocals, dance beats, sophisticated lyrics and classic song-writing combine to lift the quality bar high with killer remixes from JAMIE BERRY and ODD CHAP completing the package. Mixing 20s and 30s vintage swing with modern dance music has of course invited comparison with the likes of Caro Emerald, Swingrowers and Swing Republic to name but a few, however Little Violet remains very much it’s own thing. LITTLE VIOLET were due to play the Festival circuit in 2020 but the current lockdown has put a halt to that. We hope to return with a LIVE video when we can (it was already half cut!), but in the meantime, enjoy this tribute to the brilliant Hollywood film THE ARTIST.
