Diana Ross 1981 TV-Special

This month marks the 35th anniversary of Diana Ross’ concert at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. The show was taped on February 5, 1981 for her CBS television special, entitled ’Diana’, which would air a month later. Scenes from the concert were alternated with studio recordings, starring Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Larry Hagman and Mohammed Ali. Fans at The Forum were able to enjoy Miss Ross for many hours, as it took the entire evening to complete the recordings.
