A tribute to Concept Artist Ralph McQuarrie

Here’s a tribute to concept artist Ralph McQuarrie. This tribute video features a dynamic slide show through my favourite McQuarrie art works, featuring a soundtrack not related to Star Wars. Ralph McQuarrie (June 13, 1929 -- March 3, 2012) was a conceptual designer and illustrator who designed the original Star Wars trilogy, the original Battlestar Galactica TV series, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Cocoon, for which he won an Academy Award. Thank you Mr. McQuarrie for bringing the Star Wars universe to life, and for inspiring myself and many others in their lives and careers. Your legacy will live on.
