# Date: Dec 16, 2020 @ 1:42pm Detectives from Taskforce Maxima have arrested a man following investigations into an assault in a shopping centre carpark at Yarrabilba on November 7. It will be alleged just before 2pm the man parked out the front of a chemist on Waldron Street alongside another vehicle. He stepped out of a blue Mercedes Benz C200, taking a red baseball bat from the backseat of the vehicle and proceeded to smash a grey 2009 Holden Cruze. The 72-year-old driver of the Holden Cruze received lacerations to his face, caused from when the glass shattered. It is further alleged the incident arose from an earlier verbal altercation between the victim and a female passenger of the Mercedes. Following the incident an investigation was undertaken by the Crime and Intelligence Command’s Organised Crime Gangs Group.
